  1. My wife is an Australian citizen and processing contributory parent visa for her parents. They already received 173 but my father-in-law is haven't migrated yet to look after his mother(wife's grandmother). The things is wife's grandmother who 80+ years old would like to join and spend her remaining days in Australia. Her husband has decreased decades ago and due to the exsistance of her the other child (wife's uncle), remaining relative visa is not an option. We were looked at conditions of aged parents visa and realised it requires sponsor's lawful residence in Australia for two years unless waived for compelling and compassionate reasons. However, we couldn't find any actual example of this. Given her age and processing queue for parents visa we are thinking about bring her to Australia for 12m using visitor visa and upon parents-in-laws's PR approval, apply for onshore aged parents visa. If this visa works the same as the others, DIBP won't even look into file till her file up which will likely take 10 years or longer. Is anyone has/know similar case about this and shed some insight or us?
  2. you need to use 'check your OWN visa using VEVO'. using VEVO as an immiaccount holder is for organisation. You can either use password(need to call immigration to register this i think), TRN or visa grant number.
  3. This. + If it doesn't get better, you need to prove it can be controlled by pills. which is usually doable. Apart from delays in the process, won't be too much issue.
  4. Well, this is odd part. CO's email signature doesn't include any location bit. [redacted] Case Officer Permanent Employer Sponsored Entry Department of Immigration and Border Protection Tel : 131 881 Email: [redacted]@immi.gov.au Just this. Took 3 months -3 days to get this, 3 weeks from pse auto-response says they are 'assigning' ENS Direct Entry / Onshore(VIC) / No MA/ Low Risk
  5. CO requested additional doc for both myself and employer, immiaccount doesn't show any update tho.
  6. CO assigned yesterday, took 3 months - 3 days. Will update again once it's approved.
  7. That's always their 'official' answer for call centre person, as it's posted on their website. Can imagine how many people call and ask experdite their case so no wonder.. Better check pse mailbox managed by PSE central admin team for realistic answer IMO.
  8. Figured intersting bit. When you click 'share' button, the last update date is not the same as what you can see from the list. I also checked some old applications in my list and seems like it doesn't just indicate today. e.g) Some of my 2013 appliactions come up with early 2014 date, which probably when I imported it into immiaccount. Presuming they (internally) mark some bits and pieces ticked off over time instead of pick one file and say 'I will deal with this today!', might indicate someone is actually looking into the file? Edit: NOP, it gets today's date when you share it with someone.
  9. Hello guys, Immiaccount just updated with some interesting features including 'share' application with someone else. Suppose anyone waiting for nomination approval can ask the employer to share the application instead keep asking around. heh..
  10. Yeap, let me copy & paste: CONTACTING THE PROCESSING CENTRE It is important that you are specific in the subject line of your email as this will ensure your email is efficiently filtered to the correct team. · If you receive an email from the Department with a Team reference in the subject line then please put the Team reference in the subject line of your return email – for example if the subject line has “Team 4” then reply with “Team 4 (and your TRN)” in the subject line. · If you know your case officer’s name you may put this in the subject line of the email and send to vic.pse@immi.gov.au · WITHDRAWALS: If your enquiry is specifically about withdrawing your application please put the word “withdrawal” first in the subject line of your email. Please note that if you are requested by a case officer to send specific documents by physical mail to PESE then they must be sent to PESE GPO Box 9984 Sydney NSW 2001 regardless of the office where the application is being processed.
  11. Have you tried to stating team name in the subject line? It goes into their inbox (not central admin team) by that way. or just a phone call.
  12. This sounds odd as you cannot import nomination anymore using individual immiaccount. It used to be doable at the beginning of immiaccount and I do have my 457 nomination in my account as well but not since DIBP comes with different account 'types'.
  13. Today's update: Please note that we are currently allocating ENS and RSMS applications that were lodged in June 2014
