Hi all, My partner was made redundant and we are relocating to Sydney from Perth as he has managed to find a job in IT there. Can anyone recommend any removalists to talk to to relocate our belongings (sofa's, bed's, just one washing machine from the kitchen, clothes etc). There are heaps of removalists out there but I'm keen to use a recommendation. Also how long would it generally take to have our stuff to be sent via road and will they do pickups on a Saturday? Thanks in advance

No we weren't asked to provide any docs. 6 month bench mark meaning most casings are taking around the 6 month period

Hi Happy to say my partner and I both received our PR today (she was defacto on my application). Timeline is in my signature, will update the google doc. Good luck to all those waiting, its a horrible feeling to keep checking and seeing little progress but looks like the new bench mark is 6 months or more. Thanks Scott

Asked MA to chase up and received the below response. Seems like they are moving forward with early July applicants now. Congrats to all those who got theirs today, enjoy!: "The Department have now advised that your application is due to be assessed in the next few days. As such, we will hopefully receive an outcome within a week or so."

No idea. Its with the MA and I don't have it set up on IMMI. Id rather not keep stressing about minor changes to status. Just trying to wait patiently until both are approved. Im hopeful it will be in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Thanks

We are still waiting. Nom lodged around 8th July and visa on 10th July. MA has confirmed they are taking 6+ plus months to process these type of Visa's at present. And no doubt xmas would have had a negative impact. Sure it will come soon....

Hi I'm defacto on my partner's 457 visa. Can anyone pls advise if I can continue working during the 90 day period if my partner lost his job? Whilst he is looking for someone to take over the 457 nomination can I simply continue working as normal? would appreciate any advice! Thanks
