Hi we are planning to move to sydney in January and have just looked at Ravenswood school for my daughter aged 13 (to start in year 9). Was just wondering if your daughter started at the school and how she finds it? We too are looking at pay blue girls school (visit tomorrow actually). But was thinking of living in mona vale area but not 100% sure. Where did you settle in the end? Any advise greatly appreciated!! maria

We are moving to sydney in January on 457 visa and I'm trying to find information about private schools for my 14 year old daughter (year 9). My husband will be working in the baulkham hills area but We are looking at living nearer mona vale area. Does anyone have a daughter attending schools in this area? Or have any advise ? Thanks

Thanks for all those comments has been useful. Hopefully will be going out for visit sometime soon so can get a better idea. Good to have some positive feedback

We are quite far down the road for a job offer in Bairnsdale and I was wondering if anyone can give me and information on the area? In particular the schooling compared to that in UK? Trying to understand the education system / qualifications and getting very confused. Our daughter attends a really good school in UK and don't want to jeopardise her education, she is 13. Looking at Gippsland Grammar school? Can anyone advise? Thanks.
