  1. On DIAC page I have somewhere read that the processing time for visa 189 is around two months only. Is this really the case? It is super fast then if it is. I guess it should be under condition given that you have submitted all requied documents. Wish u all the best Kellie!!!
  2. that seems to be worrying me now. I tried to dig out threads if anyone was granted who had such medical condition but could not spot any... If you do know please send along, i need to know their experience in this reagrd...
  3. I am also on the same boat. Have you heard anything back yet? But threads here say that Hep B is an issue for some specific fields only such as health care. For others, you basically do not need to undergo for Hep test.
  4. thanks. I finally managed to get it certified from my consulate. Now the waiting game of approx 12 weeks starts off. Though I cannot put up with such a long wait, but no choice.
  5. Guys, am in dire need of help. Hate these ACS assessors...they are just too arrogant. My employers do not provide details on my responsibilt other than a title in employment certs such as Software Engineer. But ACS needs these details...they later asked for statutory declarations from my colleagues but certified. How such documents on earth which are not official can be certified. If you have been through this, please share your experience on how you put up with it....thnx!!!
  6. As I remember I have read somewhere the processing of 189 visa after the app lodgement is 2 months only. Is it for real?
  7. What is your profession? As I read DIAC page for medicals, it says it requires Hep B test only if you are in medical or cookery profession. And that makes sense to me. Please share as your medical assessment comes along. I also have similar condition which is worrying me. I need to be sure if it is a hurdle which certainly blocks the road to the PR. I've not started the process yet, so that I could save time and money.
  8. First post ever and responding based on my understanding after going through the medical section of DIAC, I do not think it should be a major concern as for visa.
