hi gas tech I've just sent my cv

I'm currently a british gas service and repair engineer ( have been for 12 years ) just starting my permanent visa application considering melbourne area or brisbane. looking to hear from any heating engineers that have made the move, wondering how difficult it is to find work etc as keep reading horror stories about our trade and getting qualifications recognised etc. Any help or info would be much appreciated. kirk.
