Yeah am buzzing. Can finally start my life again and get back working. I got Queensland ss, I done Medicals on the 29th jan, pcc I got the. Done before Christmas, am onshore aswel. hopefully people will get there grants this week. I used a agent so never check immi web site, but I did pester my agent every week.

Lfc I woke up this morning to see all the posts on here, talking about how the visas are not getting granted till July, started to panic a bit, then a couple of minutes later I got the golden email haha I front loaded everythin!

Just got my grant e mail 10 mins ago. Finally a resident of Australia Applied on the 28th of jan, 6 weeks and 1 day for the direct grant

I don't no how true that is? I've seen on the expact forum people mention it. But if we have been invited for then surely there is still places available, so don't worry, I think we should get are grants this week or next

I've got a agent meself, I just keep pestering him to check! He's been good for us, he did say he was hoping to hear some thin after the 7th week. I've applied for Queensland ss, but am in perth at the moment. I quit my job once i lodge me visa, was hoping for a quick grant so I can move to Queensland

@joydeep i used a agent, so haven't been on the immi web site to check! Fingers crossed we hear from a co this week or even start getting some grants. I lodged my app on 28.01.14, 5 weeks today. My eoi came back in under 24 hours so was hoping for a quick grant.

same here, nearly 4 weeks since I lodged, still not a word. the wait is killing me.

Hi if u don't mind me asking what state to you apply for? And are you onshore or offshore? Am hoping I don't have to wait 8 weeks for a case officer. The 189 visa are being granted in just over 3 weeks in some cases.

Might give them a email meself, I need to get back to work ASAP save some money and move to Queensland. Am from Birkenhead mate! Fingers crossed the visas get granted pronto haha

mate I've had a nightmare, been so close to going back the uk a couple of times, but stuck in there knowing once this visa grants there are about 3 or 4 big projects I can get work on. Am a pipefitter, been living in secret harbour for nearly 2 years, my trade went off the wa skills list, so I went for the Queensland ss. Who did you contact about lifting the work restrictions on your 457. Were are you from in the uk?

Has anyone notice how quick the 189 visa are being granted lately? Am friend of mine had his granted in 23 days.... I was told the 190 visa should be processed quicker?

alright lfc, am in the same position as u, am on a 457 but job was terrible so quit in jan! Lodged my 190 in jan. Paying for the visa and paying rent has left me skint, am dying for the visa to grant, so I can get a new job and get some money back in the bank. What job do you do? And what state did you apply for? get your Medicals done ASAP as well, I've up loaded all docs so hopefully just waiting for a grant in the next couple of weeks
