Hello. I am very worried about my boyfriend job. I don't want to ruin his career only because we want to live in Australia. He's a web developer, Senior Php Developer here in our country (Romania). Has 8 years of experience and a good job. If I apply for Visa, he will be my partener. I read here some posts about IT jobs in OZ. Some users (web developers/sys admin/ web programmers) from this forum are upset and they want to go back in home contries because they complain that after 5-8 months of searching they didn't find any job. Is so hard to find a job in OZ at IT department ? What salaries offer australian companies ? If someone that really works or has worked in IT / developer can answer me, will be perfect. If a web developer can't find any job in this field, what other job is more easily to find there, for an IT specialist (even if is not so well paid) ? (we will apply for 190 Visa, sponsored by SA or ACT)

My qualification is sponsored this year by SA (offlist) and ACT. After 1 July maybe they will ofer sponsorship in more states for my occupation. My bachelor degree is recognized and I have to apply at Vetassess for assessment.

He has 6 years experience in web developement proven with work contracts and references (between 2007-2013), and 3 years experience proven only with a contract, without references (the company was closed about 5 years ago, we have no contact person, no statements). What do you think? We should try to assess his qualification at ACS?

Thanks, Adam. Now I think the only way is to assess my qualification as Copywriter at Vetassess, assess my boyfriend qualification as Web developer at ACS, and hopefully by July 1, one of us will have luck.

Hello Melza. Thank you for your welcome message. I've never been to Australia. In fact, I have never traveled outside of my country. My flight to Australia will be my first and my best travel. Hope so. Now I'm so caught up with my dream that I only want to work, to save money and to apply for visa.

For HR qualification I must first get my Master Degree in 2015 and after i must complete 1-2 years of experience in the field. That's why I prefer to start with the application, take the IELTS and assess my Bachelor Degree in Marketing now at VETASSESS, because I have already 1-2 years of experience. Meanwhile, I will finish my studies while I wait for my visa and I will assess my Master Degree when I will be in Australia. About the $9000, I know that I will spend more only for the visa application and I need $30.000 for relocation. I'm prepared to save more this year.

My boyfriend, after he finished the highschool, he started to work. Now, with 8-9 years experience in PHP Developement/ Web Developement with contracts and portofolio, but without any Diploma or Degree (no Bachelor Degre, no Master Degree) , ACS will assess his qualification? Has any chance? His case can be : No Tertiary Education Qualifications: 8 years relevant work experience completed anytime in past work history plus a successful RPL application ?

Hello. I want to apply for 190 visa this year. My qualification will be assessed by Vetassess as Copywriter. As Copywriter I don't have right now many chances to emigrate because I found this only in State Nominated Occupation List by SA in Off-list nomination. Do you know cases in what the qualifications from off-list reappear the next year in Low Availability LIST or Medium Availability LIST? Or even in the Special Conditions Apply LIST ?

I'm Corco, I'm from Romania, I have a bachelor degree in Marketing, and now I study to receive in 2015 my Master Degree in Human Resource Management. Untill then, I want to prepare my emigration with my boyfriend and to start the application. My partner is 28, is a PHP Developer/Web Developer with 6 years of experience but without any degree (no bachelor degree, no master degree). We live together since 2011 and we have a good life here, with good jobs, one car, one good rent, but we hate the european people mentality and the government laws. We want a new good life there, in Australia. I want to apply for 189 or 190 visa. I will be the principal applicant and my partner will be the secondary applicant. Thus far, we saved around 9.000 AUD; meanwhile we will save more. This year we will start with IELTS tests, skills assessment and we will sent EOI. I hope to get visa immediately after I finish my master degree (June 2015). My first question: I have a bachelor degree in Marketing (2011) and 1 year experience in Copywriting (2012-2013). I want to apply for 189 visa or 190 visa. The problem is that my qualification (Copywriter) is nominated only in CSOL list. This means that I can't apply for 189 visa? My option must be only 190 visa?
