Hi everyone, I have permanent residency in Australia & I live in Australia now. It has been just few month since I moved here. The thing is, I might move to the U.S. two years later for my husband-to-be because of his work. But I really don't want to lose my Australian residency. I know I can get 5year-valid RRV after two year living here. The question is what will happen next... once I return before my RRV expires, and I still need to go back to the U.S. while I travel back and forth btw Aus and US to fill up my 2 years living in another next 5 years.... then can I get another chance to have RRV again? - get first 5 years'-valid RRV after 2 years residing in Aus and move to the U.S. - come back to Aus before RRV expires - stay 5month in Aus each year (like holiday) in next 5 years to fill up 2years in order to get another RRV Would it be the legally possible story? Is there anyone tried this way? Thanks for your comment in advance.

As I read in the government website and other blogs, at least you needed to reside in Aus at least 2 years within last five year to get 5years' valid RRV "OR" at least a year within last years for getting 1year valid RRV. Please check out more details in official sources.

Finally my ENS was granted last November. My case was bit twisted and jeopardized in the middle, so it took quite longer than others. *Paramatta office / offshore 2013 Jun Applied nomination through MA 2013 Oct Recived refusal letter from immigration, due to faluty documents from MA Withdrew for re-application 2014 Feb Re-applied nomination through MA (same MA, hard to trust them again though) 2014 Jul Nomination approved 2014 Aug Applied Visa 2014 Nov Visa approved My Christmas in 2013 & New year's holiday in 2014 seemed like endless hell but, fianlly I got my PR and this reward washed away my pain those days. Killara, thank you so much and your explaination was very clear. Yes, firstly I am going to visit my agency tmr and discuss about appointing a lawyer. What a big lesson learnt, I never thought being in this mess and agony to settle in Aus.

Thank you MaggieMay, yes you are right but I feel like it is useless to contact with my employer because it is already clear that they don't want me now. Also I don't want to work for them either. And agency was immigration agent as you understood well. The point I made in this point is, if this headhunter guy can contact DIBP to cancel my visa. He said I and my agency will recieve the letter from his laywer about their action to cancel mine and I want to know whether it is a bluff or can possibly happen.

Apprently now my employer wants to get rid of me now, according to the situation.

When you say validation, that means did I actually visit Australia and confirm my residenship? I received grant letter last Tues and it says the first entry date must be end of Feb so thought I can move to Aus around Jan.

Hi all I need bit of lawful opinion here if you can help me. Recently i've got granted for 186 ENS and I was setting up my schedule to fly in Aus soon. To long story short, I will list up my journey like this. - 2012. Sep : signed contract with agency, signed sub-contract with headhunter in Aus who was introduced by the agency - 2012. Oct : Had a job interview with a company that the headhunter guy introduced. Heard I will be working in the company once my visa granted. During the interview, interviewer asked me when I can start working as well. - 2013. Dec: Found out that my nomination was jeopardized in Oct due to my agency's mistake. My nomination was disapporved but we plan to apply next monimation by withdraw - 2014. Feb: Re-applied nomination - 2014. Jul: Nomination approved - 2014. Aug: Applied for ENS visa - 2014. Nov: Visa granted Last week I talked with my agency and heard that the headhunter guy saying I cannot have a job in the company. It was not because it has been long time since I had job interview, but he totally changed the word that it was supposed to be from the first moment when I work on my visa. He said he explained this during my job interview, but I am 150% sure there was no such thing. I and employer talked when I can start working for them during the interview and I have no idea what the heck this headhunter guy is talking about. I and my agency both got furious about and I contacted with him directly. And claimed that this is totally wrong and he sounds like scheme. Then he got angry and shouted at me like " Hell, are you threatening me?" and HE hung up. Clearly I wanted to figure out if he was a crook but he just suddenly tried to stop talking to me. And this morning, he sent an email to my agency that he will cancel all my ENS including grant from immigration accusing that I was threatening him. From now on, he wants to talk through the lawyer. In my contract with him, I was supposed to pay him certain amount of money to find a job and put me through the interview and guide the company the sponposring process all the way. I have only last payment run that I need to pay him. But because of this issue I am holding my money transferring. Do you think that he and his lawyer can cancle my granted visa and everything? I am not afraid of losing my job that I was looking foward to working, but my ENS. I follwed decent process which is legally placed through job interview and sponsporing. I didn't threat him but asked him if it was all set up. And then he asked me back if I am threatening him. How do you think? If you are lawyer, what can possibly stop him or prevent any damange in my visa?

*New updates Some people asked me how it went after below story so I share. Last night I was extremely shocked because he sent me the half-naked pics to me without notice. I was so upset and said this must be a joke and his pointless action really irritates me. Then he said he just wanted to show his good body to me (--for what????) And added, he sees I reacted so sensitively so he thinks we wouldn't be a good match (--I never asked you to be my match ) and dosen't wanna talk to me. I kept silent. Then few seconds later he came back and say he feels bad for making me upset. (--Didn't you just say you don't wanna talk to me?) I responded I am upset and I am sorry for losing good buddy because he ruined it. Then in the middle of late night he said "let's be friend, I am so sorry" -------------------------------------Now I figured out he is mentally unstable or ill. *sigh* Here is the thing I met cute and confident younger kiwi guy for drink last weekend. Someone set us up. The 1st round became 2nd, 2nd round became 3rd round. He said he does not wanna make gf but i could feel he was bit headed off to me. but not sure if it was because he was bit drunk. Next day, he kept texting me from morning to evening and finally asked me for hangout again that night I suggested evening tiime, then he changed his mind saying, he wanted to see me late night not evening. So it was cancelled And then next day, he told me he likes me. But what he said is he is so busy for next couple of weeks and I said OK. I didn't ask if he is available for next going out. (What I found was he had time to hang out with his guys friends though) And today I had super exiciting news and shared with him. He was so happy for me as well, and I invited him over a drink. He was bit hesitated to say he is coming because he is supposed to meet his buddies Then 10mins later he said he can come and have a drink. He do wanna celebrate the new with me! And after fixing place and time to meet him up, he came back another 10mins later and said he need to cancel the appointment with me. What he is suggesting? He is such a Hot N Cold and even bit strange for me. Is it normal pattern for Kiwi or Aussie guys?I really have no idea....
