Better to do tat with ur application. I didn't do it coz I thought it was necessary (applied by myself) and I got contact frm my CO on 12th dec 2013 for a request of Form 80 and till now still haven't granted my visa! Called co again and he said the required information is under check processing...I wish I did tat before...and seems like another frustration waiting term again

Its been almost two months after CO issued more information request.....Geez...still not a word about visa......so frustrated!!!

Hey Stooly, Would you mind sharing where your application was processed? Coz I have been waiting so long since the case officer asked me to hand in more information.........:arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

no I am still waiting....I submitted all the further information on 17th Dec and confirmed with CO on 18th and all the documents have been completed...but no further information since then....My CO said he won't be back to office till 14the Jan soooooo kinda fingers crossed....:arghh::arghh::arghh:

Mine took me 3-4 weeks to get it done. My employer wrote a letter to them for expedition the whole process due to await for application of my nomination. And afterwards, I called them twice and finally it was done the next day after my 2nd call. If your process has been exceeded the standard processing time, you'd better call them and talk to them.

Its different! If u chose paper application, as soon as your application is being processed, Case officer will inform u a medical examinations requirement and he should provide a HAP ID. It says on the DIBP Website. http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/arranging-health-exam.htm click 'where do i find my HAP ID'. Also here is a link for the new process of Medical examinations. http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/_pdf/health-process-visa-applicants.pdf Hope they are helpful.
