Thank-you guys, managed to log into our account today and re-read the docs that clearly state our application has been submitted! Phew! So now we wait....... :-)

Thank you for your help! I am feeling a little better! We have got an immi account and paid the fee, uploaded docs, a little paranoid we could've missed a 'submit' button?! When we try to login to our immi account we are getting the following message, Not sure if its just poor timing and the system is down or there is a 'fatal error' with our application?! Anyone else experiencing issues when they log in? Thanks again for your responses guys!

Thank you for your reply, I so hope your right! but It's stating that our first application expired (no idea why or how that would happen)? And its giving us until 21st nov to submit another one?

HELP!! I completed a EOI for a skilled visa as above and paid the fee as requested. I was then invited to apply for a visa and opened an immi account as requested (following the links and within time scales) and submitted my application and added the requested supported documents. My understanding was that the next part was for our application to be opened by a case manager, however I have received a message through skill select saying that we missed our first invitation and have been requested to submit another visa application? Have I forgotten to do something? Has anyone else had this issue? Does it mean there was a problem with my visa? Will I need to pay the fee again? :confused: Im sure you can sense our panic any advice would be appreciated! Thank-you!

Thank you both for the replies and the clear information. Will await the birth and baby passport and then book the medicals, and update the CO as and when we are allocated one? Does anyone on here know roughly how long the CO's are taking to get allocated? We submitted ours on the 10th September.

Hi Guys, If anybody can help us out to provide some good advice it would be much appreciated. I lodged my 189 visa on the 10th September, with my partner and son (6) included. We are currently awaiting the allocation of a case manager, but have yet to undertake our medicals. This is because my partner is now 36 weeks pregnant so they will not undertake a chest X-ray until the baby is born. I am aware that I will need to submit a change of circumstances form once the baby arrives and also that the baby will require a medical. Therefore my questions are :-) : 1 - Does anyone know the likely date we would be allocated a case worker? 2 - Should we get the medicals done now, without the baby and partners chest X-ray? 3 - Should we wait 5 weeks (expected birth date plus recovery!) and get full medicals, excluding the baby, but including partners chest X-ray. 4 - Should we wait and then get ALL, (including baby's medical and my partners full medical) done as soon as possible? From my understanding (We haven't used a agent) once we have a case officer, they will request any missing information with a 28 day limit. Therefore on the assumption that we won't have a baby passport for 6 - 8 weeks, allowing to register the baby and send off for the passport, will this be outside the 28 day limit and what happens in this instance. If you can help with any of the above, please, please, please reply. Thank you.

Hi All, To complete my application for assessment of my employment I need to ask my employer for a job role reference. I am applying as a project builder and just wondered if anyone had done this before and knows what sort of thing is looked for. I was going to ask my employer to basically confirm my employment and then state my job role / responsibilities as bullet points so it matches the description of the job role under Project Builder, as it does. Would this be adequate or is anyone aware of other details that should be included? Thanks to anyone who may be able to help, although I suspect it is quite a narrow amount of people who may to able to answer this....
