We got notification when decision was finalised. We Did Not get an email from the CO requesting the documents. It is horrible to think that a decision for an expensive visa application can be dependent on the case officers word that they have sent the email, that the email they sent is actually delivered properly. We received all the other emails no problem. Having called DIBP 3 times before the decision was made and told all three times that no correspondence had been left is substandard. What is the point of having an immi account, that advertises that communication will be logged when it doesn't even work properly! We were checking that immi account page, emails and spam folder like a hawk from the day of visa application, as i'm sure all applicants do. Really disappointed with the service provided

Hi 189 applicants, I was wondering if those of you who have received e-mails/correspondence from the CO whether this is updated on your ImmiAccount page under 'My preferences' and when you click 'my correspondence'. All replies greatly appreciated.

We have taken screenshots now and will send them off. And written a letter explaining the situation. maybe I could used these forum posts as evidence too haha!! (constantly complaining no contact from CO) It is also lucky we called DIBP on the general enquiries number 3 times and told nothing had been updated. Meds and PCC are not a yr old yet- not til july at least.

Chami we got notification of refusal reason was that we were allocated CO back in October and the asked for extra documentation to be submitted within 28days and we recieved nothing. After calling DIBP twice in Nov and once in Jan we were told no correspondence or notes had been left by CO. So first correspondence is actually the refusal. Even now logging into immi there still shows no correspondence but clicking my preferences shows 3 messages sent to email but all dated 22-02-14. It's absolutely ridiculous. Now we have to email CO to explain but I doubt they'll overturn decision. What exactly is the online system glitch??

Urgent question for all those who have been contacted by CO for visa applications- does the email correspondence come through as a private email addressed from the Case officer, or a generic DIBP one??? Also, if they have contacted you, should it be listed as correspondence on your personal immi login page?

Called DIBP a week and 8/1half ago and were told that CO was allocated- but no other info. We applied on 28/813 and have had no correspondence at all. We've only been told that if the CO wants any additional info, they will be in contact. Reading through applicants posts, it seems that CO will be in contact within 12 weeks if something is required, otherwise direct grant. We also front loaded form 80- but the link is still there. We actually printed off the forms and filled them out by hand then scanned them in. I noticed that when you click on the link, an editable PDF format of Form 80 appears- wondering whether we should fill out a digital version and re-submit?? fingers crossed for this visa soon!

Actually haven't been notified of a being allocated a case officer! .... Somethings wrong, not adding up!

Has anyone seen the new updated DIBP wesbite, it states that current allocation times are 10 weeks for a CO, and it says that CO will contact you within 2 weeks of being allocated. My partner from the UK applied for his visa on the 28th Of August 2013, and we've since heard nothing. No updates, no requests for further documentation. Any ideas?... We are hesitant in calling DIBP, as we have done so twice already (back in early November). But it appears that visas are being processed so quickly for everyone else!

Congrats Scoobypatch! Did you guys apply via an agent and did you ever hear anything from your CO? We applied 28/8 and still no news or contact. After the new immi page update though, there is now a 'No Health Examinations' required statement, yet the Form 80 link is still there even though it was uploaded around the time we applied.

Nothing here yet either hopefully before Christmas! where are you from? Have you done your medicals and police checks?
