  1. Hi a I've recently uploaded and submitted all my documents ,had my medical done my police checks and reached my 60 files upload limit, all requested documents completed and application is submitted and my case officer has responded with 'application in process'...does anybody have any rough estimates as too how long it takes to get the visa granted (fingers crossed)..I've heard 3 weeks I've heard 3 months? Thanks
  2. Ah great yeah I had that mind but obviously with him not replying I didn't know what the best option was but I shall do that thanks
  3. Hi everyone..my case officer has requested me to fill in and upload form 80 and add to my application,I'm applying for a 189 visa and I have only been allocated 60 files to upload and I've already uploaded 60 files but everything else he has requested is done ,such as police checks etc..I've emailed him 5 times to ask for a solution to get the form 80 across to him but I understand their busy and haven't received a reply!! Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and will it affect my visa application ,everything else is done !if anyone can shed any light that would be great ,cheers!!
  4. So do you think it would be worth bringing all my paslodes and makita cordless kit with me ,I don't use 110v gear anymore anyway that's not a problem,my main issue is ,is it gna be more cost effective for me to fly my tools over or buy them all brand new over there ..just wanted to know if anyone had done it and remembers how much it costs ,thanks.
  5. Thanks a lot guys..all of my tools are battery cordless power tools, I have nail guns which are pretty heavy so I think I will sell them and just bite the bullet and buy them again when I get to Aussie but fly over my hand tools and makita kit, thanks for your help.
  6. Hi..im just wondering if anybody has flew over or shipped power tools and hand tools over to aus? I'm a carpenter and have literally every tool you need to do the job and it's taken me years to build up my kit ,just wondering if it's going to be worth selling up and buying again when I'm out there or getting them sent over .is it cost affective and easy to organise are my main concerns ,any info would be appreciated ,thanks.
