Hello, I am planning on making a trip to Sydney mid February 2014, stay there for a week and then fly to Brisbane and travel up the East Coast to Cairns via Oz Experience package. I want to spend 4-6 weeks in Australia and looking to see if there is anyone else in a similar situation travelling on their own around this time?
Rather than arrive on my own and book myself into a hostel, I have been tempted to get involved in a week long tour which includes accommodation (this will be my first time travelling alone so seems like a friendly option!). If I was to make friends before I head out and arrange to meet someone/people there when I arrive and plan things together that would be a better option.
I'm easy going, friendly, bubbly and up for getting involved in lots of different activities and sights
