Freelance workers need not to set-up a company i guess? I can just go up to businesses and ask if they are interested in getting their own website and hosting. But surly i can check with some Umbrella companies. I have seen most of current vacant jobs for web dev are paying $50-60 an hour and are fine with 6 months contract. I assumed $50/60 is fair enough but what is the average pay for web dev? I am planning to be in Sydney by early 2014. Is there a big demand of IT Guys or Designers?

Hello All, Don't know if this is the correct place to ask questions, but here it goes. I have figured all about the visa and accommodation in Australia on Working Holiday Visa, but from what i have been reading is that, employment is normally at bars, restaurants or at farms(unless i want a 2nd WHV). Do Web designer / Developer / IT Manager stand any chance of landing on a decent job? By that i mean is those listed on http://www.jobsearch.gov.au or at seek.com.au with 50-60$ per hour. And also can i do freelance in Australia? I have 4 Years work experience in which 2 years of freelance. A decent portfolio with some 29 website built and tried couple basic Android & IOS apps. Holding a Bachelor's degree from Oxford Brookes university. Do let me know please
