Thanks for your reply will get in touch with them as we want to make sure we are heading down the right path and not make any mistakes that could effect him getting a visa. I know its not a easy one sponsoring a family member just confused that they was say he was to old.

I have recently set up a business here in Oz but would like to get my father from the UK over here to help me with the business. He has contacted a agent who says he is to old? Is there a age restriction on the 457 visa?? I've looked and can not see one, he is 60 yrs old so a temporary visa would suit him until he retires then he would be able to apply for a aged parent visa. I really could do with him working for me as a Business manager as I require his experience and skills to expand the business and enable me to apply for some of the licences I require. I am happy for him to be a partner in the business or just employ him as a manager which ever route would be best. Can any one recommend a good agent who specializes in 457 visa as there is a few requirements I have to meet as I have only just set up the business ? [h=2][/h]
