Hi, Just a quick background, my partner and I are moving out to Oz on a WHV and will be arriving in Perth in June. We have a few things planned for the first few months and are looking to try and get some of our 'specified work" started around September/October time. I have been looking on backpackers websites for some time now and have failed to find anything completely useful. I was wondering if anyone on here could point me in the right direction for applying for jobs in the Gingin or Perth Hills area although it doesn't specifically have to be there it could be further afield than that. Apologies if this seems a little tedious, would just like some idea of where to look or where to get contacts for applying for jobs as we would like to have some sort of idea what to do when we are there. not being paid isn't a deal breaker for a short while as long as accommodation and food are sorted, is it easier to get a job like this?

thank you, i cant wait to get out there. Yea we have had a look into getting as much money saved up as we can before we leave, i think this is why its a good thing that we can always go back and live with family in perth if needs be

Hi everyone, Just signed up to the forum as my girlfriend and i have just had our first WHV accepted and are planning to land in Australia next June. We are planning on spending the first month with family near Perth then after that not really sure, we have both visited Australia before on several occasions and we can't wait to get out there again. We will be looking for 'specified work' whilst in our first 12 months as we would like to be able to extend the visa to a second year so any helpful tips or websites anyone knows about with regards to this would be much appreciated. If there's anything else please don't hesitate to ask
