I did my medicals on 30th June 2014 for a Class-189 Visa. Can anyone please tell me about the time it takes for visa grant for Class-189 Visa after medicals keeping in view the point that I belong to Pakistan. Uptil now all my process is going in a very fast manner. I had applied for Visa on 3rd of December 2013.

Another point is that EA has got nothing to do with Class 189 or 190 time priorities. It processes CDRs irrespective of 189/190.

well the current time as in my case was less than 12 weeks although they do mention a worst case scenario of 19 weeks. MY CDR application was received at EA on 18th June 2013 and my result was dispatched on 11th September 2013. So it took almost 11 weeks.

Dear NAJA I have got 65 points and lodged my EOI for 189 on 19th Sep 2013 as Telecom Engineer 263311. 263311 is in limited occupation list of ACT. How can I apply for it. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Regards

Yes I have got experience on both Data and Voice Solutions in both the TDM and IP Categories. However, I do not possess any certifications. I have also worked on PON, GEPON, HFC, EOC, DWDM, SDH, DXX, OTN, PTN and FTTx etc. As a matter of fact, I have done consultancies on the Design of Hybrid Last Mile Solutions. I wish to start my own consultancy in Australia as an Entrepreneur but I am not sure about the limitations of Class 189/190 visas regarding this matter.
