  1. It was the employer, with a date that my husband needs to be over there to complete a specific job.
  2. We got the OK for priority ...just hoping it comes thru granted now!
  3. How long ago were you approved for priority ?
  4. Sponsorship/nomination/457 visas submitted 31 May, in Assessment in Progress since 1 June. And a week ago we were approved for our 457 applications to be allocated to the Priorty queue since my husband has to be in Australia for work in 3 weeks. However, after a week passing, I'm stressing out! Has anyone had success after being in priorty, and if so, how long did it take to have the visas granted? Side note, we were in AU for 3 years on a 457 with the same sponsor, so I thought it would go faster than this.
  5. We just got a case officer assigned yesterday and she requested more information on both the 457 visas and the Nomination. For the 457 she requested certified copies of birth certificates for all of us (I thought the passports would sufficed, woops!). Also a letter of reference for hubby (he'll be the visa holder)...and a few more minor things. My question is: Since we now have a Case Officer, can I expect things to go fast now if they get everything they need from us? I've been watching the timelines and it seems it's all over the board with processing times. We are hoping to be there by the end of October...is this reasonable do you think???
