  1. In this situation, the more evidence you can supply the better. We were married but still classified as being in Defacto as we hadn't been married for 12 months. Our agents asked us to provide phone bills (showing itemised items of each others numbers) and text messages, our actual Skype/gmail chats etc...We bombarded them. Any cards/wedding invitations etc are good. Any other bills or bank statements in joint names. Hope that helps
  2. We too received our grant today! Agent called this morning to tell us Finally the wait is over! Strange thing was though I emailed the agent yesterday for an update and nothing, he said he had just emailed the case officer and voila! It was there this morning! For all of those still waiting, I am sure the wait will be over soon Keep holding in there.
  3. My husbands medical was referred as he had viral meningitis, all cleared and discharged from hospital back in May. Our agent told us referrals can take up to 2 months. Our CO has not contacted us since we sent all of the paperwork and doctors discharge letters and everything else they wanted and that was a month ago now.
  4. Its just so annoying as we wanted to front load all of our documents but were told not to do it again and again by our agent. Seems the direct grant is a much quicker route. Ironically we were told not to front load as the date is from the first one done, which is now ticking against us anyway, so would have not lost any time and probably would have given us more time to make our first entry. Sorry, but can't help feel a little let down by our agents who we paid thousands of pounds to and not got a great service ...ok frustrations vented
  5. Hey Mariaarieckal, Yes, we are also with Adelaide GSM Team 2...maybe a hold up on their end??? Anyone else with Team 2 GSM Adelaide???
  6. Another week down and still nothing I am going to give the DIPB a call next week to see if they can tell us anything...
  7. I think that is dependant on how many cases they have. We were advised that we couldn't have access as they only have one log in and all of their clients info is on there, so I am assuming it would be the same with all other agenst. It is a rubbish system as just being able to see a small change in your status is something to get excited about and you can see that they are working on your case, this way you are completely in the dark. As said before and I would say it to anyone, DO NOT USE AN AGENT...they are a complete waste of money. I thought that they would relieve the stress of the whole process, but it actually makes it worse.
  8. Shelly, My husband was furious and wrote an email to our agent to say the same thing, but I told him to hold off on sending it as we didn't want to get them even more upset with us for "bothering" them as I figuered they may hold off on telling us anything like for example you have a visa and then not tell us until we have a few days before we can activatation period is over. It is so frustrating and quite honestly stressing me out and I agree, after paying them so much money and being advised that we could "call the main person at any time on his mobile phone" which we have never done as we try to bother them hardly at all, it is a little disappointing. So, I shall sit and wait patiently and fume in silence x
  9. Unfortunately as we are using an agent we do not have a username or login that we can use as all of their clients are listed on their username and login, which makes the wait even worse as we cannot go and check on anything ever! We have to rely upon them to do so. We recently asked for an update and they got quite snooty with us and sent a very unprofessional email back telling us how many hours they work a week etc... I know that they have been uploaded as the Clinic that we went to for our medicals advised us so (when we explained that we are not able to log on and check anything), they also gave us our medical grades and so we know my husband has had to go to referral as he got a B due to having meningitis not so long ago. But we have no idea if the CO is requesting extra information. I think just being able to log on everyday would ease the stressful time because at least you feel you have some control over if you find out the information straight away, rather than having to rely upon someone else to do it when they have time etc.... Therefore my advise, do not use an agent for those who are undecided!!!! LOL
  10. strange we also applied on June 18th. I cannot check to see what the medical status column is showing as we are going through an agent who tell us very little, but we are still waiting.
  11. We are!...submitted our application mid June, CO assigned on the 1st September, asked for PCC and Meds which have both been uploaded, more than 2 weeks ago and nothing since. We are using an agent and they are busy elsewhere at the moment, so we may have one, we may not...just have to wait patiently, although this seems to be harder than anyone would have thought!
  12. I'm still waiting. My medical was graded A, hubby was given a B, so more waiting....
  13. Hi NSB, Yes, we are in the same boat. PCC were uploaded last week and medicals were done this weekend, so depending on when they are uploaded by the clinic, they said anything between 7-10 working days, so that's at least another 2 weeks and then then agonising wait for the grant or not.... It is so frustrating that we were told to wait before doing these things as we were thinking of doing them before and uploading but were heavily advised not to Happy for everyone else who has their visa, but beginning to feel the drain of the constant wait we seem to be facing
