  1. Hi guys, Got my grant today!! Here's my timeline. I've been trying to update this in my signature, but it's not reflecting Direct grant 262113 Sysadmin | IELTS 7.5| ACS +ve 11-Dec-2013| NSW 190 ack date 23-Dec-2013 | Invite-27-Mar-2014 | Lodged-28-Mar-2014 | PCC-2-Apr-2014 | Med-10-Apr-2014 | Grant-9-July-2014
  2. Congrats Emilio!! You sure got it quick Did you lodge the visa and upload the docs on the same day?? Please let us know.
  3. Just got off the phone with DIBP after waiting for half hour though I called in as soon as they opened their lines. Here is the status: 1. They are yet to process all the backlog applications and they have no clue when they will do it 2. Hopefully, they should finish by 2ND WEEK of this month, IF POSSIBLE 3. Processing may take anywhere between 3 to 4 months 4. From the time of CO allocation(none for me yet, obviously), they might take a good 3 months to process. HOPEFULLY, less than that. So, Jan and Feb applicants can expect visa this month. I guess I asked the lady more than 3-4 times about the processing and she mentioned the same In case you are calling, don't bother calling after 5AM IST. The call wait time will take anywhere between 1 hour to not connecting. Sorry if this news breaks your hearts, but it was really tough for me to stay on the line and listen to her. A mix between sadness and anger, but really can't express and they don't really care about how the applicant feels
  4. There was none from the people I know yesterday. It's time that the 190 is processed quickly now since we by default hold faster processing speeds compared to 189. Hope the COs are allotted soon and our grants come in. Late March applicants shouldn't hold their breath and just continue with their preparation to fly. It's just a matter of time that we all got. winsonwongsg, somehow I feel that you might get your grant within 2 weeks
  5. Wow! Wow! WOW!! Fantastic photos, mate! Absolutely loved every pic! Since I'm into nature photography as well, I could really connect with all the photos. Brilliant stuff! Thanks a lot for sharing the beauty of WA.
  6. Yeah!! Isn't that ridiculous?? Half a month's wait and what do they do?? Just manage with 4 days worth of applications. Also, they say that the next update will be late July. They should be kidding me :-/ We now know that DIBP needs some Skill select of their own and the real skills shortage lies within their system
  7. Someone who called their offices yesterday mentioned he was told that processing time is 3 months from the date CO is assigned. Has anyone else heard the same? Isn't it supposed to be 3 months from date of lodgement??
  8. Wow! Wonderful news to hear on this lazy Sunday afternoon. Congratulations! Wishing you many more happy years in Australia!
  9. Hope they nab these criminals soon and haul their a$* to prison.
  10. Sorry to hear about your loss Thieves are upping their game! If you don't mind, can you please tell me which city was this in? There have been quite a few incidents of CC thefts in Sydney alone.
  11. Didn't claim any points for employment. Here's how my EOI looks.
  12. The problem is mainly with the employment. Didn't realize that I should have chosen "not relevant" for the deducted years by ACS and end up choosing all employment history as relevant, since I had no clue that it should be separated that way. Also, my occupation is relevant to what ACS gave a positive to. Realized this after 2 months of applying and also read 1 guy got rejected since he overclaimed in EOI as well. Quickly filled form 1023 and have uploaded. No CO yet..
  13. My doubt was after the EOI submission. The EOI submission is correct, but while filling the visa, there were errors w.r.t. to either education or employment. If the 1023 is sent out before the CO is allocation explaining the error, how would the case proceed?
