@nataraj86: I lodged the 190 visa on 2-Sep-2014 but my EOI is suspended on 10-Oct-2014!! will it delay the usual visa processing??

Hello, I submitted EOI for 189 and 190 visas. I have already got invitation for 189 and applied for state nomination from SA. Today SA immigration refused application saying that My queries: I dont know why they could not locate my EOI. I checked several times and found EOI ID is correcr. Is there any possibility that it happened because of 189 visa invitation? In this case, can I submit another EOI for 190 visa only as my current EOI is locked for 60 days because of 189 invitation? For some personal reasons, I prefer applying 190 over 189. I need one more info please. If I do not apply for 189 visa after getting this invitation, will it affect if I apply 190 or 189 later on? Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Best regards, mwn

I mentioned my research experience during assessment from EA. Most importantly one of the three career episodes of the CDR was regarding this experience. And EA assessed positively. here is the letter from EA. That is why I claimed points for this experience

My understanding was that I can claim all my experience that are assessed by Engineers Australia. If they feel some particular experience is not appropriate, they will take decision based on the rest of the experiences, rather than refusing the whole application. As in my case, if they think my research experience is not appropriate, they will consider the rest 3 years of my experience. With this 3 years of experiences, my total point is still 60. please correct me if i am wrong

Hello, I have just got invitation for 189 visa. At the same time I am little bit confused about my point claims. As per SkillSelect my EOI point breakdown is as follows Age: 30, English: 10, Education: 15, Experience: 10 (TOTAL: 65) I claimed points for research assistantship (RA) during my masters study which added 5 points. Apart from this I have 3 years experience which is assessed by EA. My confusion is 1. If I lodge visa and provide all documents of RA, will it be considered as an experience? (I heard somewhere that RA is not considered as experience) 2. If they don't consider it, I still have 60 points. Will they issue visa based on that? I am now thinking if I made any mistake including RA as an experience. I am confused if I should lodge visa or not, as I will lose the visa fees if it is refused I am eagerly waiting for your cooperation. Please provide your expert opinions. Thanks mwn

Hello all, I am currently studying postgraduate in Adelaide. In the meantime, I have applied for skilled assessment in ACS and hope to get the result in December. Then I am planning to apply for state nomination and after that, will submit EOI. I believe, this is the procedure. Please correct me if I am wrong. On the other hand, I want to bring my wife and kid from my country to Australia in January/February as family members of my existing student visa (subclass 574). My query is, if I include them in my EOI, are they allowed to travel to Australia before I get the invitation for PR visa (subclass 189/190) application? In short, are they allowed to come to Australia while EOI is in process? Your expert opinions are highly appreciated. BR//mwn

Hello all, I want to apply for skill assessment in ACS for the occupation of Computer Network and System Engineering. I have a query: during my Masters studies I worked as a Research Assistant (RA) and Teaching Assistant (TA) for almost 3 years. Can I claim points for the experience of RA and TA? Regards//mwn -
Hello all! I wish to apply for skill assessment in ACS for Computer Network and System Engineering. I have checked that my experiences suit for this occupation. I have a small query. I have already sat for IELTS (Academic) and scored 7.5 (R: 7.5, L: 7.5, S: 7, W:7). Do I need to sit again for IELTS (General), or my IELTS (Academic) will serve the purpose of migration application.
