  1. What kind of additional info? just assurances and proof that they can pay if required? is it a process that takes a while and would possibly could be rejected still or would this be the final hurdle if the company were to sign? DIAC have just came back to say they are re-assesing the costs just now on newest reports so fingers crossed
  2. Thanks CG there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on them which is hard for the company too when the DIAC are not great with responding :-(
  3. Thanks Blossom that's what I thought, just need to see if anyone has experience how how quick the process takes if it's a case of formality then other than possibility it would still be rejected.
  4. Can anyone help share experience? Thanks
  5. Thanks TP Basically my son has a condition called Williams Syndrome and the DIAC have advised that the company would need to underwrite the Health Waiver 4006A the estimated cost to the Australian community of the services identified in the 884 is likely to be: Special education services $106,000 Early intervention services $12,000 If the company were to sign this does anyone know then if a further medical would be required or would it be as simple as the company signing this then it is a formality that the visa is then granted?
  6. Does anyone know if the company do sign my visa waiver is it a case of the visa is then granted or can it still be declined and does anyone know rough timescales on once the company sign getting word back??
  7. No we submitted further reports all positive but the DIAC are not responding to assure the company or give any breakdown and have said they can not wait till an agent gets involved now due to this taking 2-3 months as application has been on the go since April.
  8. Does anyone know if your application for a company sponsored 457 visa is withdrawn due to the company not being willing to sign a waiver if this will affect future applications? Do I have to wait a certain period of time before applying again? Many Thanks
  9. Thanks Tickled Pink, we are awaiting the DIAC to come back and confirm a breakdown of the costs to see where they say he failed on.
  10. Can anyone confirm exactly what the reciprocal healthcare agreement covers if a 457 visa is granted with a 4006A waiver??? Not sure if the waiver means you don't get reciprocal healthcare or not and DIAC are not being clear for someone as daft as me
  11. Just want to say thanks to all who pointed me in the direction of George Lombard, looks good that he will be able to help as he has had 2 clients who have been successful with applications where there child has the same condition as my son.
  12. Ok apologies I worded it wrongly in the company will only sponsor on 457 for now, I have no misconception I am aware it rains bike but compared to Scotland the outdoor life due to the weather and opportunities available are incomparable that said this post is not to justify my move but to see if others have experienced such as I am now and can offer constructive advice as some very kindly have and not for my decision to be judged as nobody knows the complete instead and outs
  13. I can't come over as skill I have is more company specific and experience from head office in the uk as opposed to on paper skills
  14. We have researched it and if you knew my child he actually thrives more in the outdoor than he does being stuck indoors in thee rain in Scotland, I am aware of the system being different but as he gets older intervention is getting less and less, both my sister in law and father in law are Australian citizens so our long term plan is for perm residency not just a couple of years and we have to try while we are young enough, you only regret if you don't give things a go and if it means my son thrives for the next few years then it will be worth every penny.
  15. Looks like for now I will hve to cross my fingers and say a prayer that our dream still comes off. Thanks
