  1. depends in uk where you moved back too as the country will change alot in the next 10 years
  2. Afriend of mine paid nearly 4k in agent fees and was about a month quicker than me doing it myself, all i can say is keep on top of your paperwork and have everything ready for when they ask as if there is any problems ,your case officer will give you time to rectify it. good luck with application
  3. What a great positive post that i need right at the moment, with delays and no correspondence from skillselect in the last 4 months i am losing faith, but this has just brightened my day. thank you
  4. That one for the DIAC Site, but thinking you are a permanent resident now you should be ok,but dont quote me. Is Australia loads better than Cannock then?or is that a daft question really.
  5. An exciting journey for me and my family, we are looking forward to this year if all goes to plan,as its been hold for over 15 years.but going smoothly at the moment. Cannot wait.
  6. Thanks for the great reply, much appreciated,Ican understand you saying close family reationships within the family, but quite rightly said,if your family was with you in australia you would stay,is not that the descision your son should make when he is older,it seems like your OH wants to stay aswell, The reason i say this is i think the UK in 10 years ime will be a horrible place to live with whats happening over here, but good luck on your decision and think about not just family relationships but what your son will be growing up into within this country.
  7. That was what i was thinking when you said about expense,if you can live in London you can live anywhere in my opinion.personaly out of Uk is the best option for anyone.
  8. can i ask as long as its not too personal why you are wanting to come back to the UK?
  9. Wish i had the option, its taking me ages to get out to oz,can i ask why you seem reluctant to return after living in London?? cheers
  10. Well i have tried sending off my CV to some employers over in victoria state for job offers of some description so i can then send them off, hoping to get state nomination as i have family nomination at the moment with the 489 but been waiting for an invite through my EOI for 4 months now or do i have to wait longer?? ANY help appreciated with anyone who has gone this route for a Visa. cheers
  11. Hi and thankyou for taking your time to reply. I Am not after sponsorship from a work employer,i just need a "job offer" from an employer,so that victoria state will sponsor me through my EOI. 25 years worth of experience in my job role..How do you go about getting a "job offer" first for the state to give you an invitation through my EOI to get an invitation to apply for the VISA to then go through more paperwork,to move house to other side of world in a reasonable time...all because i am waiting for a "job offer" for state to nominate. I realized i had some hoops to go through, but this?????more confusion or am i getting it wrong somewhere???
  12. Hi all, this is just a quick ask on how to get a job offer from an employer from Australia to help with state nomination, when i m in the uk,would they be willing to just right a letter of confirmation and a contract??for me not to possibly be in Aus for the next 18 months or so?? I have done everything else, just need a job offer for a mechanics role, surely it cant be that hard to secure one but would they be willing to do one for someone they have not even seen or will see for over a year,:arghh::arghh:
  13. Hi everyone,as the title says really, I would like to know when you have put your EOI to skillselect, what roughly is the waiting time to get an invite,i understand the number threshold per month is fixed now,so was just curious to find out certain time lines for the family sponsorship visa. Thanks for any advice given,
  14. If they are still available i would like to have them please.
