  1. Got my grant today as well  after months of waiting!!!!
  2. Gratz sachin24!!! By the way, what is your last day to entry Oz to activate your visa?
  3. You may reapply at any time, but do your homework properly this time. Follow strictly their requirements, do not "think" by yourself. They have a line, you have to walk on it, if you step one step out of the line, you're out. Good luck!
  4. Ummm... Are you sure you are the one that has to to the copies? Or the person who's certifying the copies has to do the copies actually? Because the second option seems much more legit to certify a document.
  5. Yep, actually I got 2 emails, the previous one stating the same, "as soon as possible", the last one giving me the whole picture So, just a few more months left
  6. Here is the official link provided by C/O: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/processing-srs.html Here is the mail: "This application is now decision ready, however at present finalisation is somewhat restricted. Please read below and be assured that I will finalise this application as soon as I am able, but be aware that this will probably not occur until after July 1." So, everything is crystal clear for me. My timeline details are somehow cloudy, because I don't know exactly the date when my C/O was allocated. Applied on 6th of December 2013, got the first mail from C/O on 29th of Jan, medicals done in front, on 17th of December, last documents uploaded on 6th of March. The mail was sent by the C/O. They are from Brisbane, GSM Team 33.
  7. Latest news, for me at least, is that for 190 visas there is a capping, so I'll get the visa most probably next financial year; my file is decision ready (mail got from C/O), meaning that everything is OK, so I have no worries now, as I was planning to go in September anyway. So, I have to get everything ready, and I hope I'll get the visa before 15th of July
  8. Mine just replied that he received all the necessary documents, and the decision will be taken as soon as possible... Dunno what that means.
  9. As I can see, there is an official announcement on SkillSelect webpage: http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/ Hopefully it's not gonna be the case to get worried, but I am delayed as well. Waiting for an answer from my agent as well, question to C/O sent already. Cheers.
  10. Gratz Gary! I uploaded the last documents on 6th of March, waiting for the decision... Waiting is killing me...
  11. You have to pay in front, and everything will appear after that (I didn't notice how long it will take after you actually apply until the list will appear). They will not even bother to check your account if it's not paid in advance. The fee entitles you for the right to have your visa application checked by a immigration representative.
  12. Congrats, my application is still with some papers pending (for the second time!!!), because one of the secondary applicants became 18 years old... more papers to send... May I ask you your country of origin?
  13. Well, don't forget they had a holiday for 2 weeks during December-January, which, in my opinion, delayed greatly the processing of the files.
  14. The new list of occupations, valid from 24th of February can be found here: http://www.canberrayourfuture.com.au/portal/migrating/article/act-occupation-list/
  15. In order to be able to keep your PR visa, you have to live and work in ACT for a minimum period of two years. After these two years, you're allowed to move freely wherever you wish. If you don't comply, you may loose your visa. You may not have the chance to even be in Australia to apply for that 5-years RRV application. Cheers.
