Hi Tilsbury, I sent my Absolute in, without marriage certificate. The UK courts take the marriage certificate and don't return it once the absolute is issued. CO hasn't requested it, I'm sure they're used to not getting them sent in from the UK.

Those on here who went early to Aus on a tourist visa could you please give me advice on what/how you informed your CO? I am looking to go in January due to a change in circumstances. I know they can't give you permission to enter early so it's just a matter of informing them of your plans right? Thanks for any advice x

Hi all, Received an email from my CO 09/09/13 (VF) requesting my medicals/police check. And also received in the post (special delivery) receipt for payment and my birth certificate back.

Still nothing here either. Thought them taking the money so fast was a good sign but apparently that's just their priority

So I could go on Working Holiday Visa? I doubt I will be getting a fast grant, I've not even been assigned a CO yet

Hi all, I am considering going over on a tourist visa in December/January, will be over 4 months into my processing time so I would hope that my visa would be granted within the 3 months I will be on the tourist one, but it's cutting it a bit fine. Has anyone applied for the WHV or longer tourist visas as a precaution?

I'm still waiting too, not quite as long as you though. Haven't had any communication from them at all yet, however, they did take the money the day they received the application! Priorities eh? Have they charged you yet?

Am I correct in thinking that the Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) is staying the same price?? $2680? Seems unlikely to me as a lot of the others have gone up hugely
