Hi guys, I just want to update my timeline and visa status. My visa was granted on the 14th of June 2013. So happy! Praise be to God!

Medical practitioners are required to do medical examination whether you belong to Low-Risk or High-Risk Country. If you had your medical within 1 year, that is still valid. However, if the CO will require you to do medical examination again, you have no choice.

Wow! 8 weeks? It is overdue. Mine was approved after 20 days. Have you contacted the DIAC or your sponsor regarding this? My visa application is being processed further today. Thank God!

Thanks for the reply ptw16! Actually, this week is the 3rd week since our health requirements are finalised. We are excited, while a bit worried, and looking forward to its approval next week. :arghh:

Hello! I think that you do not need this because UK and AU has an agreement or something on Medicare. Hence, you can use your UK Medicare in AU.
