  1. Hi everyone! Hope anyone could help me out on this. I'm an overseas nurse with 3 years and 1 month post grad paid work experience: 3 months in the medical surgical area, 1 month in ICU and 2 years and 9 months in CCU (the most recent) all in one hospital. I'm planning to lodge my anmac skills assessment and hopefully the skillselect real soon. I know it is required to have at least 3 years work experience to be qualified for these. But I'm a bit confused as to which anzsco code to use. Is it the ANZsco code 254415 (RN for critical care and emergency)? I've read in the skilllselect section that you are to nominate a code for a skilled occupation/closely related skilled occupation for a period of at least 3 years of employment. In my case, if I choose 254415, I hadn't reached 3 years in it. Would it be advisable to have the code 254418 (RN - Medical) instead so my whole 3 years and 1 month of experience would be covered for the points system? Hoping for any advice. Thanks!
  2. Hi everyone! I'm a nurse with a couple of questions in mind with regards to the 457 visa. 1.) I'm single, will my parents be qualified as my dependents to accompany me for the 457 visa? 2.) what are the usual requirements for parents for such visa processing as dependents? 3.) Will they be able to come with me to Australia on the same date? 4.) Do all employers agree to having their sponsored nurses bring their dependents? or is it a case to case basis? Thanks everyone!
  3. Hi! I'm an overseas nurse with 3 years and 1month work experience. 3 months in a medical surgical unit, 1 month in ICU and 2 years and 8 months in the CCU. I'll be having my registration to ahpra by september. Do you think I stand a chance for employment in Australia and possible sponsorship by then? Any tips and advice? Big thanks!
  4. Hi! I have just sent again my cv and cover note to admin@bestjobsinoz.co.uk. It's entitled CCU / ICU nurse applicant. Hoping to hear some feedback soon. Thank you
