Thanks for getting back to me. I thought this would be the case but I didn't want to spend the 550 dollars to get my degree assessed without asking. Also I have completed a three year degree and when looking at the website for assessing it they state that to qualify a 4 year degree must have been completed. I really hope they don't try and say that I need to do more study.

Hi! I would be really grateful if someone could tell me whether or not I need to get my skills assessed to apply for a 189 visa if I am currently working in the same occupation on a 457 visa? I've been in Australia for 9 months so far but don't think the employer sponsored option after the two years is going to happen and therefore want to get the ball rolling. Thanks for any help given.
