  1. this the first part the provisional residency and after 2 years the department will contact you again for the PR, i hope it is going to be easy as the first part.
  2. Hello again, a posted days ago about my application for partner visa, asking questions because im so scared to be refuse of the 12 month cohabitation that we did not meet, but last thursday me and my partner received a notice from post office, and we went there friday morning to get it, and we are so nervous upon opening it because its from the immigration and when we open it it was my visa grant notice for 820 partner visa. We were very excited that finally i am granted without so much trouble, we apply last Feb 20 and was granted March 20, it only took 3 months for them to process it and made a decision we are very lucky. Now all our worries are gone and we can finally move on and start a new life together. To those who are applying for 820 partner visa just be honest with what you wrote and submit all the necessary documents and and in the end you will get what you aim for. Goodluck to all of you
  3. sorry my tourist visa before had no " no further stay condition" that is why i was able to lodge onshore
  4. sorry for that my tourist visa had no "no further stay condition" thats why i was able to lodge my application
  5. yes i already lodge my visa onshore before my tourist visa expired, and i was granted a bridging visa A while waiting for the result of my partner visa application. my question is what are my chances of being refuse since we did not meet the 12 month cohabitation as one of the main evidence.
  6. i arrived here last nov 21 with tourist visa with no further stay condition, but i am now a holder of Bridging Visa A, i know it takes time for the result of my application,
  7. yes but still they required also a 12 month of living here, im from victoria.
  8. I applied for onshore partner visa application, im a transgender, the department already gave me Bridging Visa A, now we did not have a 12 month cohabitation since im from the philippines and i came here in australia 3 times as visitors, 3 months every time i stay here, and my partner also visited me in the philippines every year, i was able to apply onshore because the last visa that i had has no further stay condition, i was just confuse because before the application we talked to an immigration agent and he said that we can apply for onshore visa but is more likely to be refuse because we did not reach the 12 month cohabitation. Right now the processing of my application is ongoing and i don't know how long we have the decision. My question is what are our chances of being refuse or being granted, we submitted all the document except for that 12 month cohabitation and we have an ongoing relationship for 5 years now. I hope someone can help me with this. thank you
  9. We will surely do it, since that is only our option for now, we just hope its not going to be difficult for both of us....

  13. Hi to everybody, i am new here. And i am from the philippines, i am a transgender and i have a partner who is a resident of australia, we have an ongoing relationship for 4 years now, we take turns in visiting each other in our country of residence. We have talked of living together and how we can do it since none of us have any idea on what kind of visa to apply for. We wanted to make everything legal and in a proper way. We tried to apply for joint accounts but the bank wont let us since i am not a resident of australia and i am just there as tourist. i hope there is someone there who can help us with our problem. more power to your site and god bless. denise
