Hey folks I'm a Scottish lad heading and emigrating to Sydney next tues, the 15th October and will be looking for employment when i arrive, I'm a really hard worker and can turn my hand to most new skills etc had many different employments in the UK so i have a wide range of skills. Would be a great help if you's could help point me in the right direction in terms of employment or know of anyone taking people on. Many thanks Stephen McCall

Hey does anyone know of any websites that do online courses for the RSA and Food hygiene certificates? fancy doing them before I leave next month to have them ready for job prospects will be heading to NSW thanks

hi soakes aw really, nice 1 good stuff ye coogee is a great place i have a cousin who stays there hence why i know of it and how nice it is slightly cheaper house and rental prices than the city so depends what kind of money or job you will be getting into. in the subject of jobs i am leaving my options open and being quite flexible in that area really to be honest got a wide range of previous employments and skills so will keeping my options open and will be applying for as many as i can a month before i go. member of a few great job sites and this forum site so keeping an eye on various things aswell.

hey homer911 superb that would be great the more info ect the better really, im looking at flat/house share accommodation near and around coogee, south coogee area's. but tbh anywhere near the beach would be awsome tho. thanks for the reply and hope your move goes well and hopefully get some helpful info from yous when the time comes :biggrin:

Hey all, new to pomsinoz so thought i would come say hi, I am moving to Australia myself on the 15th October this year from scotland, taking a big step and following my dreams. looking to be staying in or around Sydney i have done months and months of research ie jobs, places to stay places to visit and top tips for general living in oz but would love if anyone has any good tips ect to get in touch.
