Today I received an email saying that my application has been finalized. I contacted my agent and he told me that they have received an email from immi department saying that the department has decided to cancel and refund all pending offshore applications. He told me that shortly I would receive a link to file for a refund. I am feeling relieved as I was already fed up of this waiting game and got a job in Dubai last month and I am currently working there. I would suggest you to login to the immi website and check ur application status

Hi guys, I have been a silent reader for some time now after waiting too long for SC 176 to start. It's good to see some of our friends in 886 and 487 getting case officers. God knows when 176 will resume but meanwhile I have got a job offer from Abu Dhabi UAE and I am moving there next month. Wish me luck. I would stay tuned to this forum and to the Facebook group, as one day things may start rolling for 176 as well.

I also applied through an agent but do have an immi account. You need to create a login on immi website using a TRN number.

Guys, who is the oldest subclass 176 in this forum who is yet to get a Case office allocated? Just curious about until what month till have they allocated 176
