You would need to compare with sol /csol requirements for role you are applying on anzsco. It tends to be, if your qualification is not on Sydney or Washington Accords, engineers australia wont recognise without skills assessment.

You can always get the uk engineering council to assess your qualification. Don't think it costs much and would give your degree the required status for EA

Kuala Lumpur has hotel in the airport that you can hire rooms for several hours at a time, at a good price. As long as you've got some toys with you may be able to get some rest while they play!

Hi Blossom, I have tried to get some direction or what they thought I needed, the initial response was just "you need a degree". I have tried to get the CDR route on engineering australia explained but they don't seem interested. Adam - I have Level 3 NVQ and an apprenticeship in Communications technology along with 5 years experience working in a telecoms network maintain and repair role. Additionally I have level 3 NVQ and apprenticeship in management and have worked as a manager for a year in the same telecoms field. I additionally have various vendor/technology training. I also have a DipHE in Audio and music technology. Any thoughts?

Hi I have paid for a pre-skills assessment with Go Matilda a feel like have paid a lot of money and got nothing back, has anyone else gone through this? I effectively paid the money and was told my qualification was not high enough. If that is the case, that is fine but I was expecting some advice on what I could do or other suggestions, also they knew my qualifications before I paid my money, any thoughts?
