  1. That was very nice of you thank you for your help
  2. Thank you Rupert, we did the EOI to see which if any visa would be offered, misunderstood it would be better for us to have the skills assessment first, and no we havent taken the IELTS yet as we are both British (didnt think this applied?) again have i missunderstood this too? Its extremely frustrating as I find information supplied very vague, maybe it’s just me and we will need an agent after all but I wanted to go as far as possible to see if at all possible if that makes any sense. A As everyone above has mentioned the offer of the 2 visas we have been invited to apply for are no good to us unless we get sponsor over there, so like you say we need to start with Vetassess and IELTS if required. Hubbys occupation is under schedule 2 Occupational Health & Safety Advisor with 10 years’ experience and number of NEBOSH qualifications to match so i hope i have got somthing right:biggrin:
  3. Ahhhhh just seen above message, need to get qualification assesed asap so we can go back into EOI and amend in hope the other visas will become avalible too as the only reason we werent offered them was because of the assesment! Thanks for the help,
  4. Really confused now, as we have already submitted the EOI after checking out the skill requirments and obtaining sufficient points. We have also been invited to apply for the Regional sponsored migration scheme 187 or the business long stay subclass 457, so im gessing we should not apply and get qualifications assessed to amend our EOI in hope we will then be invited to apply for the following visas that wont need an employer sponsoring us ? 189,489,186,190
  5. We compleated the EOI and have just been invited to apply for the 187 & 457 Visa, we dont have any employer sponsor so im gessing you dont need that to apply for these 2 types of visas. But which one is best?

  7. Hi there, We have just submitted the EOI and have been invited to apply for a 187 or 457 visas :biggrin:but missed out to the following visas due to no qualification assessments completed :err:189,489,186,190 Would anyone know/recommend that we should get our qualifications assessed and amend the EOI to gain all the above visa invitations rather than just the 2? If this is possible and to what benifit? I know you can only apply for one, but is one better than the other or more chances of making it through on a particular visa? Or im i just being silly and should be happy we have been invited to apply and get on with it since the 6month clock is ticking? Will we still need to get our qualifications assessed at some point thought out our either visas application? Has full visa payment got to be paid as soon as we click on the apply visa tab? Can you start the visa application and save to come back to like the EOI? Sorry for the overloaded questions just feel like a rabbit in headlights right now and really do not want to muck this up!!! :ssign16: Any advice or help appreciated x

  10. Hi there all, Would love some help to get started on our move to Australia we have been advised to get out on a 457visa through my hubby who has the following qualifications, which we feel combined with his work experience he fits in Australia's skills shortage critera of; Engineering Manager, Matreials/Michanical Engeneer, Production or Plant Engeneer, Sheetmetal trades, Metal worker/fabricator, Manufacting, Environmental Engeneer/ Manager, H&S Information Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Safety Inspector. HND BusinessManagement & Finance HND MechanicalDesign Engineering Six Sigma Yellow BeltCertificate NEBOSH Diploma NEBOSH Fire Safety& Risk Management BTEC PTLLS Preapring to teachin the lifelong learning sector Lead Auditor Health, Safety,Quality, Environmental FA First Aid The Hampshire FA FirstAid FA Level 1 Coaching The Hampshire FA Coaching Level 1 What is best for us to get over there? Get the visa now and apply for jobs from here? Or do we apply for jobs from here and get interest, then get visa or do we just get the visa and get on plane out ther then apply? If best get over there, where is best to ensure he gets job asap and what about rental home or places to stay? Obiously were not just relying on the hubby to work but with 2 older children in tow and with my qualifications as internal QA auditor and administration which i can only do part time to fit round school we need to get him sorted, any help and advise would be so great for us right now. Thank you all
