1. Our CO was allocated on september 18th. All of our documents now show as "received" except for the medicals that show as "requested". However, today the link to organize the medicals has disappeared and it says "no health examinations are required for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship" ... So I guess now we just have to wait
2. I am just wondering how they can verify addresses. For example, I doubt that they can't have access to anything like bills or bank statements. So would they look at the addresses used for passports, social insurance etc. Just curious
3. Hey all, Do you know if DIAC verifies addresses provided in form 80? How do they do it?
4. It's not that bad. I applied for PR in Canada a few years ago and the application processing itself took 12 months (gathering all documents etc beforehand probably took another 2-3 months)
5. All, I see some people getting grants a few hours/ days after uploading Form 80. I see others having to wait for months. Do you know what the level of checks is based on? (High risk countries almost automatically get through more thorough check I believe, but is there anything else?)
6. Hey all, Today I called our medical clinic to know whether or not they had uploaded the documents. They mentioned that they are having issues with the system and can't log in. They also said that "the high commission" hasn't got back to them when they asked for help. Did this happen to anybody?
7. Hi all, My husband and I just got a CO allocated We're really excited. Our team is Brisbane Team 23 The CO has asked for medicals (we actually did them 12 days ago but our medical clinic hasn't uploaded them yet apparently), for Form 80 for me (secondary applicant) and for payslips and bank statements for my husband. We should be able to upload everything in the next few days
8. Hi. We lodged ours on July 25th. It's been 7.5 weeks but no case officer yet. hoping to get a CO allocated next week From what I've read on the forum, CO allocation seems to be between 8 and 10 weeks but sometimes there are direct grants without any CO contact.
9. Congrats !! May I ask where you're from and how many points you had?
10. Hi all. My husband and I submitted our application on July 25th. He is the main applicant (software developer, IELTS W 8.5 S 9 R 9 L 8.5) and had 70 points. We currently live in Canada. We front loaded PCCs and got our medicals done last saturday. Now waiting for CO to be allocated ! Good to see that some of you have received fast grants
11.

Hi. I saw your post saying that you received a positive assessment. Can you let me know what your occupation is? Also, were all your years of experience recognized?
