We are applying for a skilled visa, but just finding out about everything before we go ahead. Lot of money to jump in without knowing everything. Plus we have a house to sell in uk and the market is no good

I thought as much! Perth seems to be very expensive for houses. I have heard you have to put a big deposit down, anyone know about that?

Once we have moved over to Oz, can we buy property as soon as we get there or eg once we have settled in and found a job, and been there say a couple of months? What's the deal with these land and new build prices? I have seen some for $250,000 is there a con?

We are looking into moving permantley to Perth. I am a joiner and my wife is a youth worker. We are wondering what the cheapest and quickest moving options were, we are both under 30 but have a house to sell or rent out in the UK. ... Any advice?
