Hi all - just an update to my previous post. My residency came through over the weekend. My wait time for a direct entry application, with no migration agent assistance, was 6 Months and a half months from visa application (3rd Sept) - my nomination was previous to this. I didn't realised I was assigned to a case officer until she called me at 7pm on saturday night (they must be working overtime) asking for some additional information and told me over the phone my application had been finalised and status granted. Hi All, I thought I'd add my timeline so far.. 3rd September 2012: I applied through the direct entry stream without the help of a migration agent. 23 October 2012: Received my Ack Valid Application Received email. 14 March 2013: So far have heard nothing and have not (that I know) been allocated to a case officer.
