Hey guys, I have a couple questions, hope there's someone can help me by answer them. 1. Do I have to withdrawal my tourist/visitor visa application in order to get my partner visa application granted? (note: I lodged a tourist visa on February while my other application/partner visa is processing) 2. What is "visa application will be finalize" means? is that mean it'll be granted? or it just mean that my application will be get a final result (whether its granted or not) Below is the additional info that I got today from my CO after been in waiting for almost 5 months to get any progress news. In order to finalize your application for New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship subclass UP461, kindly submit withdrawal letter for your tourist application due to your application for subclass UP461 going to be finalized. I lodged a tourist visa application this February when I found that my partner visa will take long time due to medical clearance process by MOC/ Global Health.)

I dont understand how do they usually process the case? why some people get left behind? your case is referred on 13/11/12 but paget01 CO said they are on 22/11/12.... Geez...its so depressing yet frustrating enough....

Just ring my CO again, she said she has sent emails asking about my health assessment, but there's no response yet. Yeah..this is just wasting time. I think i should reconsider to get a tourist visa while waiting this never-ending drama...

Hey guys, I'm new in this forum. Had my medical done on 10/12/12 and referred on 12/12/12, still waiting too... apparently, my CO doesn't gimme any clue yet about what's happening about the delay. I found out from so many forums about the backlogged , delayed, and bla bla bla. Geez, I have NO medical condition at all, not even sick...wonder what's happening with my medical assessment. Surely it makes people getting nuts cause nobody (CO, HOC, MOC,or wotever they called) giving any clue or information... Waiting without knowing anything is frustrating :arghh:
