Hi y'all, Im a australian citizen currently living in uk, but im moving back in 2016, due to me being an australian citizen will i require any thing like a medical card to take over or am i instantly covered with being a citizen. Im going over in a few weeks but only for a quick research trip, so i decided to take out travel insurance and im just wondering what i will require when i go over to stay. Any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated. thankyou paul

I'm Paul and single, though I do have a son who intends in the uk.Im an Australian from birth even though ive been in the uk most of my life, and have now decided to bite the bullet and come back home and looking for maintenance type of role, whether it be on a caravan site or as a school maintenance officer, if all else fails then will go it alone and set up my original dream as a handyman and become self employed. Hoping to move and rent in the Brisbane area. Will keep you all posted.

Good to hear your good, and sadly it fell thorugh due to family problems, so yes been in uk ever since but booking flights for around next February 2016 and hopefully getting tax code, medicare,maybe even centreline to help me out until I'm on my feet, so has love kept you here then?
