Oh no this thread has now scared the life out of me. Moving to Bunbury March 2014 n worried about any job opportunities :-(

Hi ya it's my husband who is the main applicant we're going on a 489 visa have to live n work a region for 2 yrs so we are aiming for Bunbury WA. Have you found it difficult finding work? That's what I'm most worried about!!! If we both get jobs I think we will have a better chance off settling - I hope :-) I'm sure you are all passed yourselves with excitement :-)

Congratulations to u both. What visa did u get? Are u both moving to WA? We just bout to start final stage n hope to move to Bunbury early next year. My husband is a chef and I am a finance officer. Just hope we can get jobs getting nervous.

Hi George do you find most of Oz has these dark nights? That's one the main reasons I would love to leave the Uk at the mo I feel like I have been living in the dark forever as I really hate the dark winter nights :-( sometimes I think I have that SAD condition!! We are hoping for Melbourne but may end up having to go to Perth it all depends on the visa. Like the idea of Melbourne as there seems to be more going on!!!

Hi there, We are just about to start the long process of trying to reach our dream and move to Oz. We are just hoping that the change will give us a better out door life rather than the long dark winters that we suffer in the UK. We are both in are late 30's with no children and believe it is now or never!! But cant help but worry how difficult it is going to be to settle in a new country where we will know no-one. We both work full time and realise that we may end up working harder as the cost of living seems so much higher!! But then again if we dont try we will always wonder what if!!!! Tracey:goofy:
