  1. Don't waste your time or money. You couldn't possibly live on that!
  2. Well looked after sr5 hilux ute. Kitted out with spotties, roof racks, heavy duty rear roll bars, bull bar, mud guards, big 4 inch lift on 30 inch tyres. Inside is immaculate. Just had new radiator fitted and flush and new coolant, new bushes, new starting motor, new carburetor. Top end rebuild. 5 months rego. Awesome ute will go anywhere! Very good price. Reason for sale I am leaving the country. Won't get a better 4x4 ute for the price. $6500 Please pm contact for photos

    HELP!

me and my partner have recently been granted working holiday visa and have booked flights to perth 18th april. i am a carpenter and my partner is a hairdresser. we thought working holiday visa would have been the best visa option for us even though we are not doing any travelling we just wanted to suss out life there while working. To my HORROR i have only just found out about this VERY HIGH non resident tax, and think it will be too much of a struggle for us while paying so much tax. any advice off anybody?? we are seriously thinking about cutting our losses on flights and visas and going through a skilled visa! any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks adam
  5. thanks for advice i will look into it. did you find work ok richie c? and how are you finding it?
  6. hi, i am moving to perth on 19th april and am a carpenter. is it possible to get my white card and working at heights while still in uk? also has anyone heard or used a site called blue dog training. any advice appreciated thanks adam
  7. hi, i will be moving to perth on 19th april. i am a carpenter and obviously have a lot of hand and power tools. does anybody know if it would be worth getting them shipped over or whether i should just flog them before i go. my tools are probably worth about £2000 and i reckon they would weigh roughly 60 kilograms. any advice would be appreciated or any other carpenters own experience would be great. i have no idea of shipping prices either. cheers adam
  8. thanks. what sort of regional work would we need to do to qualify for our second year WHV? is construction not included? forgive my lack of knowledge. cheers adam
  9. me and my partner are planning on going to perth end of april. we are going on WHV but are not travelling. we want to get an idea of life living over there. I am a carpenter and my partner is a hairdresser. we plan on getting work A.S.A.P. we will be bringing about 7-8 thousand GBP with us, after visa and flight costs. would this be a suitable amount? also we really would like to avoid hostels if possible but surely no body will rent to us if we dont have jobs immediatly? does anybody have any other ideas as for accomodation ??? any comments appreciated thanks adam
