  1. I need PCC for Kuwait as I spent more than a year after PR
  2. Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone tried using auspost international police check (aka fitwork) as PCC in their citizenship applicantion? Was it accepted? https://auspost.com.au/police-checks/international Thanks
  3. thanks for your mail...but your case was FS and I am afraid what if they are thinking of my case to be FS as well as pointed out by imi :ssign2:
  4. yea it might be worth asking.. Below url has details about the plan but it shows 0 for state sponsored for this year and next year  https://www.immi.gov.au/media/statistics/statistical-info/visa-grants/migrant.htm
  5. Hi guys, After the security clearance I was asked to go ahead for my medicals which were finalized last week. Today I have received below mail from my CO. Does that mean I might have to wait till after 1st July when new quota will be assigned? Please comment.
  6. how do we declare it? I mean is there some documentation required or a form to be filled? after declaring does the custom charge something?
  7. Congrats what is your initial date of entry? how much extra luggage does IOM allow?
  8. Important Information Today I got official response from my CO explaining the validity of Meds and PCC - Meds are valid for 12 months from the date of finalizing. They can be extended by CO for another 6 months - PCCs are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. They can be extended by CO for another 3 months Of course, this all depends on CO as each case is different. I hope things will be clearer for everybody now and will reduce speculations :cute:
  9. My meds are finalized but for her we can't do it as x-rays are not allowed
  10. Guys, I need your opinion For my wife, I did meds right after lodging the application last year and they got expired in May this year. CO has asked to redo the meds for her but by the grace of Almighty Allah she is pregnant and she cannot undergo x-ray. CO has given me two options: Option A: Her meds will be extended for 6 months and we have to validate the visa in the start of Nov, 2013 Option B: We wait for the delivery till next year in Sha Allah, add the kid to existing application and do the meds for the wife and kid In any case, I am not planning to move permanently for next 2 years. Please suggest what should I do? Thanks
  11. say if I go with option B, - how much does it cost to do meds in Dubai? - Dubai London Clinic - Garhound Branch or Jumeirah Branch? which one is better - Do I have to call the clinic and get an appointment? - Any other point that I should keep in mind? thanks
  12. I am confused and need opinion from you guys, specially the ones who did their meds in Dubai Kuwait is the place where I live but after a week, I will be going to Dubai for 3 weeks. Now should I get my meds done in Kuwait or Dubai? Option A - If I do it in Kuwait and if something is pending/missing, I won't be able to do anything for next 3 weeks Option B - If I do it in Dubai and if it is not finalized in those 3 weeks or something is missing/pending, then do I have to go back from Kuwait to Dubai or can the things get fixed in Kuwait itself?
  13. I was wondering that with the current status of AUD wouldn't it be better to open a USD account in Australia? guys please share your opinion
  14. I FLed my meds in April and it took 2 months to finalize..for secondary applicant, meds were done last year and they expired already..so I will be doing it again in couple of weeks..
