  1. Normally in the email there is an attachment telling you how to respond, what subject to write and the email address to respond to. If it is not there then you will have to write to the same email address, and in the subject write your TRN No, Name, DOB and the name of your case officer. Then repeat the application details on the top in the email text too.
  2. How old is your IELTS? Apply for a remark in writing, it takes 8 weeks and fair chances are that you will get the 0.5 marks increment to get an 8 each. Your EOI score can be updated then from 60 to 70, giving you better chances to get an invitation. Just a suggestion though as writing is subjective and I personally got a raise of 1 band in writing.
  3. CO will contact when he or she requires any document or missing information.
  4. It means that some one is looking at your application and it is being processed further, it might be that you have been allocated a CO. Good news it is.
  5. Check the online status. It will tell you whether it is positive or not. Ask them to fax it and they will happily do it and are very prompt about it. They don't email though.
  6. The world cannot afford another war. The last resort should be surgical strikes, but if US invades into Syria then this can prove to be a catastrophe for the region. Assad should just step down, how can he even sleep with so many deaths on his hands.
  7. Yes, it seems like another war is on the brinks or someone has his eyes on Syria's resources. Stage seems well set after a few investments. As a wise man once said, "this world can never experience peace until there is profit in war".
  8. Who is going to be the primary applicant? You or your partner? Going down the partner points route for 5 points is not worth it if you have other options open. Try with IELTS if you have not considered it earlier in your marks. Anyways, the passing mark is 60 for 189's and 190's - period.
  9. The passing marks for 189 and 190 are 60, but the more you score the better are your chances to get invitation from
  10. 175 does not exist anymore, and when it used to did the passing points were 65. 189 is the replacement for 175, and the passing marks for 189 are 60 currently.
  11. Nay Nay Nay...employers ask for photos if they want before hiring...
  12. Don't bother about it, people have received their visa's sometimes and still the online browser shows required. Has your CO been allocated? If he wants something he will ask for it.
  13. One more thing: your job reference letter should also include your salary and number of hours spent in a week and inturn every year. This is critical.
  14. Sending the certified documents is a good option. I did the same, but sent the originals from my current employer. There is a list of people whom you can get your docs certified from. I did it through a Doctor, she checked my originals and verified the copies. Solicitors charge per paper and it is costly if you around 100 papers
  15. Hi Karmen, I doubt this would be a problem. Are you planning to send the original to Vetassess or will you send a certified copy?
