    Thanks for the reply. We have had a long chat tonight and we will go to Perth on a temp 457. However can anyone answer this question. If OH loses his job or gets made redundant and only has 28 days to find another job, can he get a temporary job or does it have to be another permanent job? thanks

    Hi all. Curious about 457 temp visas. We have the opportunity to go to Canberra on a perm 190 but heard Canberra is not all that for fun loving partying 30 something's. So the other option is to go to Perth on a 457 but we are concerned that if hubby loses his job or gets made redundant he only has 28 days to find another job. If that happens can he get a temporary job or does it have to be another permanent job? I understand it has to be in the same field of work. What does everyone think? 190 in Canberra for 2 years or 457 to Perth? Thanks

    Hi Su Being a South African (married to an Englishman) I know full well the hoops Immigration makes you jump through when getting a visa, glad to hear you and your family made it. Mick seems helpful and knowledgeable thanks again K

    Hi Su Thanks for your reply, just out of interest how long did it take you to get your visa from start to finish using Destination Oz? From the signatures at the bottom of your post it looks like it has taken a while? Thanks again Kim

    Hi all My husband and I are thinking about going with Mick at Destination Oz, we can't decide whether to do it ourselves or go with an agency, especially after recently reading horror stories about certain visa companies taking ridiculous amounts of money from their clients and destroying their immigration dreams. This means so much to us and we want to get it right from the start. Any feedback would be appreciated...
