Hello am after as much info as possible on working in the mines in oz, am currently a plumber/ gas fitter living in the uk and looking to get out as soon as possible, so if anyone's got any info on hours, days, wages , training and chances of getting a job in them it would be apprenticed thanks :biggrin: ​

Hello am a plumber/ gas fitter looking at the state sponsorship visa but struggling to poly for it on line it keeps asking my average living allowance in WA for a month (how am I meant to know that) how much am taking with me( I don't know got to sell my house and car) can anyone help

Hello am a plumber/ gas fitter here in the uk and went to a Aussie expo in Manchester last week. I was told there was loads of jobs and good money to be earned in WA but been looking on here and there's loads of people struggling to get jobs and when they get a job the money's not that good is there anyone who can shed any light on this for me thanks:biggrin:

Alright dancinghibby haven't done vetasess yet going to sell my house 1st and move back in with the parents to save as much money as possible then look in to it. I went to a overseas expo on Sunday and was talking to a man from the WA government Perth are doing a state sponsored visa were you can go over there without a job so you can look when you get there, but you have to stay and work in Perth for 2 years then after that you citizenship and can go we're you want it cost about £4000 but that's for the family. Hello every1 living the dream am a plumber/gas fitter wanting to move to Perth in the next year. Can anyone tell me how much plumbers are earning yearly and if there's many jobs about. I've also been told you have to pay a licence fee and retrain does anyone know the price of this aswell THANK YOU. :biggrin:

Thanks for replying booked a Ozzie expo 2day in Manchester in march so hopefully get some information there I have'nt really thought about what visa would be best for me yet just had a look at the different types, I've got 2 friends who moved there 1 5 years ago who lives in Perth and the other 3 years ago who lives by the gold coast and they both tell me loads of good stuff about them both
