We've just moved to castle Hill and are a family of 5 (boys of 7 and 5 and a girl who is 2). We're on PR visas and the kids start at Oakhill Drive school on Tuesday. Will let you know how we get on with the cost of living!

Just wondering if anyone can recommend good landlords insurance. The ones I've looked into seem to require that you be a UK resident and we will not be. We're renting our house in the UK out while trialling life in Aus :-). Thanks.

Hi all. We're moving to Sydney from SW London at the end of November. I've had two companies quote me. JM says we are slightly over a 20ft but is 75% sure we will fit in on the day. Pickfords says no way we'll fit. He estimates 1400 cubic feet (300cf over) so has quoted on sharing a 40ft. The 20ft quote is £1000 cheaper but I'm worried that we are over a 20ft and they'll turn around and say that it was never certain and then charge us a fortune for the rest. Just wondering what to do next. I might get a third quote from Crown? Anyone been in a similar position. Thanks.
