Hi Alytia! We moved up here in January - both young boys to to St Lukes which they love - ( one son in the Kindy which is great) living ( renting until we're sure...) in Bargara which is extremely laid back and has lovely beaches - let me know if you fancy a coffee and playground meet etc! Can be hard to move over straight from the UK but I'm sure you'll love it ...! ( fab climate too!) Michelle

Im moving to Bargara in 3 weeks! have two young sons ( husbands job behind the decision - worth the adventure!) ... looks v quiet but people seem to be very friendly and beach lifestyle seems pretty relaxed! spent 13 years in Sydney and past year in Brisbane let me know when you arrive - good luck!

Hi From Bristol originally - After 12 yrs in lovely Sydney - just moved to Hawthorne with family ( husband, 5 yr old son starting at Morningside Primary next week!) 2 yr old son and grumpy cat - will be frequenting the playgrounds around the area no doubt with strong coffees ( and hopefully the odd child free outing )- any one around that area?!
