  1. Hi, i was working as an estate agent in the U.K and moved here September 2012. Im not sure if you can get here and obtain a job as a real estate agent which will give you the entitlement to stay here ?? I married a Australian in 2002 and the process to get here was quite hard and expensive ! (Partner/Spouse Visa) The course you will need to do runs for 2 weeks, 5 days then 4 days and is very intense. costs about $750ish for the training and then a further $250ish for your registration. The course runs at the Central Institute of Technology in East Perth. Pretty certain its once a month. Think i done my course end of sep/beg of October and got my registration about the 25th November. If i new the time scales now i would have got a part time job to keep me busy and also for some cash flow.
  2. hi, i have recently moved here with my wife who was from Mandurah but has been in the u.k for the last 12 years. we live in Falcon and have 2 childred and a new baby who was born a week ago. Where abouts are you as no a few people and could meet up. cheers Keith
  3. There are Holiday rentals which i think you can take from week to week and are fully furnished but a lot more expensive. Normal rental is $350 to $450 ish per week but these can end up being $800 per week so expensive but ok for a few weeks. let me no and should be able to get you some details.
  4. Hi, we moved to mandurah in October and it was very hard trying to find a rental. we found one after a few weeks and loads of applications but got there in the end. Im now in Real Estate on the sales side but can point you in the right direction if you get stuck. cheers Keith
  5. We moved into Falcon, Mandurah and it was quite hard to get a rental as the FIFO normally get them first as they are the perfect tenants as they are hardly there so the wear and tear is minimal. we got a really nice 3x2 and about 10 mins walk and 1 min drive to the beach for $350 p/w. Mandurah is the end of the train line but loads of other good places to live along it all the way back to Perth. hope this helps. If you do decide on Mandurah drop me a line and i can give you the details of some letting agents if you need.
