We'll got my grant through today. Applied 21st June co : 24th august requested medicals ( done mid sept) + police checks. uploaded PCC: 21/10 grant: 22/10 was waiting for a few things here before sending off the final documents. Applied from the uk. 189 independent.

We were planning on going to australia in oct next yr but with all the visa changes and fees decided to apply. Thinking the whole process would take months. However just waiting for police checks to come back now and will likely get grant once done as CO allocated. Planning a a family now and end up getting pregnant then will need to re apply for child visa. On immigration website says 3-4 months for low risk countries. At the uk embassy website says 7-8 months. was wondering if anyone had recently applied and what time frame was?

Has anyone applied for a 101 visa from the uk recently? If so how long did it take? Thanks

189 visa applied 20th June, contacted by CO this morning to upload medical and police checks.

Yeah I said that but she said they didn't have anywhere to put the result until the form has been changed. It's the e- health process. Also when I look at the referral letter to print off the tests required on there just say x-Ray and HIV

Hi, can an anyone tell me for the 189 visa did they also do a hepatitis screen as part of the medical if you are a healthcare professional. Ive lodged the 189 in June tried to book my medical but the surgery is saying the application doesn't say you are a healthcare worker and doesn't ask for hepatitis screen. To contact the CO and amend the form. I've not got a CO yet. Looking at at the visa info if applying for a 457 and healthcare worker u do need a hepatitis screen but it doesn't say that for the pr visa. I cant do my medical now until I know what I need and get the form changed

Thanks for that. Annoying that can't check the anmac online website now since they have changed to the new format. I think it will be early new year before I hear anything then.

Do you know if the time starts from the point of online application or when they receive the form. I completed online form on the 27th August but they didn't get the forms till the end of sept. thanks. P

Did u apply online on the 20th or submit your form on the 20th? also has anyone been able to login to their account to see the progress of their application, since the form has changed?

Is it 12 weeks from online application or from when they get the forms?

Hi all. Can I just ask when did people apply. I applied online on the 28th of August but didn't get my paperwork posted till the 15th of sept. just trying to get an idea of how long before I hear anything? Thanks
