Hi, just wondering if any one knows how property managers assess affordability for rental property applicants? ie 20% of weekly net income etc?

Seems odd to me......where did you think the money was coming from to pay the credit card repayment.....? You may just have to use that credit card to pay back the government!

Oh my, I 'm so sorry you are having such a tough time I think it's a decision only you can make based on how you think you can cope with all of this. Being newly separated, potentially poorly baby on the way, and 4 children to care for, places you on a huge emotional roller coaster. My husband was diagnosed with advanced cancer in 2011 when we were in Brisbane, and it was a complete nightmare! When life throws us these horrid curve balls decision making is never easy. We came back last December as my husband was diagnosed with cancer....lets just say 7 months on, we are booking flights back to Australia. But definitely give it more time....hopefully you'll settle back in when the weather is better

Graham, how is the move with this company going? They sent us a really low quote and we were suspicious of them...

We've used overseas packer and movers a few times (don't ask) They are always fantastic and reasonably priced.

We had a ridiculously cheap quote from them! All other companies we contacted were baffled by it, and said it just wasn't financially viable....very suss if you ask me!

Hi there! I have had sooooo many messages I can't keep up .
