  1. I am in the process of primary school 'hunting' and I have found that the schools are quite strict with their catchment areas due to funding criteria I.e. a certain amount of students will get them funding for a teacher. They aren't really based on postcode....you will need to goto the school website and check out their defined catchment area. Don't forget you will need to register with the TRP $110 and then there is annual fee for non premie residents ($4500) which is means tested but you will need to specifically ask for the form to get yourselves accessed. hope that helps....good luck Che
  2. Hi Juliet, I'd like to get in on the act as well. Family due out to join me (5,7 & 9 yr old) and the good lady Wife. Can't seem to find the closed group on FB. Cheers
  3. Hi, Just wanted to get a list of options from the folks on here on my upcoming situation. Wife and children (x3) are coming out to join me late March. Whilst we wait for all our stuff and car to arrive what are my options on making sure the Mrs can do the school run, shop etc...? I don't believe GoGet is going to be an option as we are planning on living in the Cheltenham / Beecroft area and it doesn't look there are 'pods' close by. Interested to hear of any options.... Thanks,
  4. Hi jackson4, Beecroft is one of the areas that is at the top of my list to move the family to. They arrive around the end of March. I was very impressed with it when I recently visited and had a wander around. Can you tell me a little more about the area (and surrounding places) please? Things like what are the options if you wanted to go buy kids clothes, do a big grocery shop etc... Thanks for any info.
